Creative Connect is a tool for students and staff from all disciplines at the University of Lincoln to help find creative collaborative partners. For example, are you looking for a designer, performer, media practitioner, or writer? Use Creative Connect to find the creative talent you need to take your project to the next level!

Collaboration is at the heart of modern creative practice and creativity thrives when different disciplines work together. With Creative Connect not only can you find like-minded creatives with the skills you need to bring your ideas to life, but you can find opportunities for yourself to explore new avenues and gain a greater understanding of your discipline and its professional working practices.

This cross-discipline connection tool will give you and those you work with real-world experience through working with other disciplines, allowing you to use your creative skills in a practical and professional setting, expanding your portfolio to stand out in competitive industries.

To place an advert to find a creative collaborator, please complete the simple 3-step form. The process is quick and straightforward:

• Step 1: Set up your profile and choose how other creatives will contact you.
• Step 2: Select the creative discipline that you are looking for from the drop-down menu, and describe the project you will be working on. If the role you are looking for doesn’t fit one of the categories then please email us at creativeshowcase@lincoln.ac.uk to add it to the menu.
• Step 3: Read and confirm the Creatives Connect Terms of Use and post!

We aim to get your post live within two working days (we moderate every ad).

And finally, don’t forget to create your individual profile page on Creative Showcase. Creative Showcase is the University’s public-facing website for students from all creative disciplines to exhibit their best work. It is promoted as the first ‘port of call’ for employers looking to commission current students and employ recent graduates, as well as providing a platform for students to easily view each other’s work, encouraging inter-disciplinary collaboration.

Creative Connect and Creative Showcase are collaborations between the College of Arts and the Digital Education & Student Life teams.
